FRN (FCC Registration Number)
Grantee Code 授权码
FCC ID号码
FCC label

FCC ID=Grantee Code+Product Code。

FCC SDoC

FCC SDoC

The FCC certification of beauty devices mainly depends on whether they have wireless functionality. If there is Bluetooth, Wi Fi, etc., FCC ID certification is required; If it's just for plug in use, just use FCC SDoC.
FCC ID authentication process:
Product classification and standard confirmation: First, determine which category your beauty device belongs to and confirm the applicable FCC technical standards.
Preparation of application materials: Application forms, product technical documents (such as electrical schematics, block diagrams, user manuals), samples, etc. need to be prepared.
Choose a testing laboratory: Find an FCC accredited testing laboratory for certification testing.
Submit application and testing: Submit the application form and all necessary technical documents to the certification body, and provide samples for testing.
Testing and reporting: The laboratory will conduct EMC testing, RF testing, etc. on the product to ensure that it meets FCC standards. After the testing is completed, the laboratory will prepare a testing report.
Review and certification: The test report and related application materials need to be submitted to TCB for review. After the review is correct, the laboratory will submit them to FCC, and FCC will issue an FCC ID after review.
Product testing: Conducted by the laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility testing, in compliance with FCC Part 15 or other relevant standards.
Technical document archiving: including test reports, product specifications, manufacturer information, etc.
Supplier Compliance Declaration: Manufacturers or importers are required to provide FCC compliance declaration in the product manual.
Identification requirement: The product must bear FCC related identification, but there is no need to apply for FCC ID.
Required Information:
FRN (FCC Registration Number) company registration code
Grantee Code Authorization Code
FCC ID number
FCC label
Product description
Circuit principle block diagram
circuit diagram
Product manual or user manual
Blank company signature paper
Letter of Authorization
Confidentiality letter (if required)
Applicant's email address
Test project:
EMC testing: Ensure that the product meets certain frequency allocation and power limitations when transmitting and receiving signals.
RF testing: Limiting the radiation level of RF equipment to prevent adverse effects on the surrounding environment and human health.
Notes:
To apply for FCC ID certification for the first time, you must first apply for a GRANTEE CODE from the FCC.
FCC ID=Grantee Code+Product Code。
To apply for an ID, first apply for an FRN to fill out other forms.
For applicants applying for FCC ID for the first time, they need to apply for a permanent Grantee Code.
While waiting for FCC approval to distribute the Grantee Code to the applicant, the applicant should promptly conduct equipment testing.
When all the materials required by FCC are ready and the testing report is completed, FCC should have approved the Grantee Code.
Certification time:
FCC SDoC certification: typically takes 1-2 weeks.
FCC ID certification: typically takes 4-6 weeks.
Certification fee:
FCC SDoC certification: The cost is relatively low, usually between 1000-3000 yuan.
FCC ID certification: The cost is relatively high, usually between 3000-10000 yuan.
Validity period of certification:
FCC certification does not have a fixed validity period, but when there are significant changes in product design or functionality, re certification is required.
Certification body:
Choose a qualified third-party organization for certification.
Maintenance after certification:
After certification, obtain FCC certificate or ID number. For FCC ID, it is also necessary to register and disclose relevant information on the FCC official website. Attach FCC logo or FCC ID number to the product and maintain compliance documentation for future review.
